Prideaux John Selby Etching on Elephant Folio Paper in Frame

This is a very interesting piece for me. This life sized etching of Black Throated Loon was done by the John Selby around 1870 during his work on British Ornithology. Copper plates were used on Watson Elephant Folio paper which at the time was the highest quality and size. The frame appears to be rather old. The etching in black and white is in very good condition. I wish I knew more about it, but not in an area that I kind find someone with the expertise to evaluate. I’m think this might be more valuable if the right person could shed some light on it. It is a great addition to collector. Waterfowl is in! Will be carefully shipped in frame. Glass will not be included.
